Part-Time Customer Service Advisor

Salary: Up to £8.91 p/h dependent on skills and experience.

Part-Time – Approx. 25 hours per week and will include weekends and evenings

The XC are looking to recruit a hard-working, dedicated and customer focused Part-Time Customer Service Advisor. 

Previous experience of working in a Customer Service based environment and using a computerised booking system would be desirable however not essential as full training will be given.

Your main duties will be serving customers, handling customer enquiries in person and over the phone and general cleaning tasks. 

The successful candidate must have excellent customer service skills, possess a professional telephone manner and be confident and calm when dealing with difficult situations.

Climbing Instructors

 

XC are always on the lookout for new Climbing Instructors. For more information e-mail enquiries@thexc.co.uk

To join our team, you must have a passion for climbing, be flexible, proactive and have the ability to engage with customers at a high level.

 

As a climbing instructor, you will be required to deliver a wide range of Climbing sessions which can include – schools, SEN groups, NICAS, local organisations and birthday parties.

 

Not only will you be delivering climbing sessions, you will also help out with the day to day duties such as maintaining the professional appearance and cleanliness of the climbing centre, regular equipment inspections and working as part of a team to ensure the smooth and safe running of the climbing centre.

We want to create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere at The XC where all of our customers get to experience the ‘Feel-Good’ factor. Excellent customer service skills are therefore extremely important in helping us to achieve this.

 

Candidates must hold either a CWI/RCI – or equivalent and have proven experience in the climbing industry.

 

BMC FUNdamentals 1 & 2 are desirable as well as Foundation or Development Coach. 

You will also need a valid first aid qualification.
