Visitor Information

Adventurous group activities like climbing, caving and high ropes quickly capture young people’s interest, whilst raising self-esteem, building confidence and helping them to develop teamwork & social interaction skills.

Our activities are equally suitable for mainstream students or for those with special educational needs and they are adaptable to all fitness levels. Our activities can be a passport to releasing potential.

XC operates with an inclusive policy and we actively encourage special educational needs groups. Special educational needs groups are catered for with a 1:4 instructor ratio unless otherwise agreed. As mentioned before, there are many benefits of these activities and we love helping the students to develop during their time with us.

At XC, we welcome youth groups of any size from age 8 years and upwards. Our prices are discounted for all affiliated youth groups and we would be happy to supply a package of activity options to suit your group’s needs. If you are looking for a whole evening of events then why not ask us about our food options to enhance your XC experience?

Our activities can offer a stimulating alternative to conventional school sports as well as helping to fulfil National Curriculum requirements. Using the NICAS scheme, our climbing classes contribute towards GCSE syllabus and Duke of Edinburgh Awards. We welcome all size of school groups here at XC. If you are looking for a package of different activities for school excursions or reward trips we would be happy to look at a variety of options, with or without our popular food choices.
